  • Works Commence on new BMW Chigwell Development

    We are pleased to announce that the erection of the steel frame has commenced on BMW new Workshop and MOT facility in Loughton.

    The project involved the redevelopment of an existing industrial site to create new state of the art workshop facilities for use by Sytner BMW. The existing site comprises of four existing industrial buildings to the north of the site.

    SWA were commissioned by Edge Property Consultants on behalf of Sytner Group as Civil & Structural design Consultants for the proposed Workshop and MOT Facility development in Loughton.

    The development within the Main Contract comprises the re-establishment of the pre-existing industrial ‘Victoria Building’ into a dry valet and car coding facility. It is also proposed to construct a lightweight external jet wash facility directly adjacent this existing structure.

  • The Moor Sheffield Regeneration Scheme Phase 3 is Underway

    SWA have been commissioned by Standard Life Aberdeen as Civil and Structural Consultants for Phase 3, the Moor in Sheffield comprising construction of new retail facilities alongside refurbishment and remodelling of existing retail units and frontages as part of the ongoing Moor Sheffield Regeneration Scheme.

    SWA Technical Director, Ryan McMullan commented:  “SWA are delighted to continue their longstanding support in the next phase of what has been, to date, a hugely successful retail and leisure upgrade to the Moor shopping district in Sheffield City Centre”
